Famous Film and TV actress Tamanna Begum died after protracted illness in Karachi on Monday. Tamanna Begum was born in Lahore, Tamanna Begum had started her career with Radio Pakistan and also took part in theater plays. Tamanna started acting in movies and quickly rose to fame with her robust performances. She had acted alongside popular stars such as Talat Iqbal and Waheed Murad‚ and her films were huge successes. However‚ with deteriorating situation of Lollywood, she had to settle for acting in television plays.She peaked in the 1970s and 1980s.
